ADA Parking Regulations
Disabled Parking
Only vehicles displaying an ADA plate or placard, and transporting a qualified person, may park in a parking space that is identified as an ADA stall. ADA stalls on the University of Utah campus are designated with a posted metal sign. All vehicles parked in a signed ADA stall are required by Federal Law to display a state issued disabled placard or license plate.
How to Display a Placard
ADA placards must be hung from the rear view mirror with both sides of the placard visible from the front of the vehicle. Do not display the placard while driving.
